In 2007, JPB Advisory Services (founded in 1995) and Executive Sounding Board (founded in1978) merged to form Stronghold Advisors — a leading middle market advisory firm in the Mid-Atlantic region. Stronghold Advisors is a full-service corporate development advisory services firm, specializing in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures of middle market businesses.

Our core focus is the family-owned or closely-held, middle market business owner representing buyers and sellers in the transaction process. The spectrum of the process may include strategic growth consulting in the early stages and capital sourcing in the later stages. In addition, we represent private equity groups and other financial buyers and strategic corporate buyers seeking proprietary and targeted deal flow in the middle market. Large private and public corporations also utilize our services for targeted deal flow or the divestiture of non-core businesses and assets.
